HMD logoQuire commemorates Holocaust Memorial Day 2010

Quire will perform at Castlereagh Borough Council's evening of remembrance on Wednesday 27th January.

Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) is commemorated internationally on 27th January each year.

Celebrate this year's theme - the Legacy of Hope - through an evening of remembrance for all victims of the Holocaust and a call to action to end genocide throughout the world.

As well as a musical performance by Quire, there will be a poetry performance from Scream Blue Murmur. The event is in association with the Good Relations Programme, WAVE Trauma Centre, and Amnesty International Northern Ireland. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.

Attendance is free but seats are limited, so if you would like to attend, contact Lauren Dumm, Good Relations Officer at Castlereagh Borough Council via this webpage.

We look forward to seeing you there.

To find out more about other HMD events of interest to the LGBT community in Northern Ireland, visit the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust website.
