The Quire is a group of singers from Northern Ireland's LGBT community, formed in early 2005.
Our mission is to:
excite,
empower, educate, encourage, entertain and enrich the members of Quire, the
LGBT community, and the wider community through the celebration of music
making, diversity and friendship. |

The members of Quire would like to thank everyone who joined us for One Night Stand - our evening of music with special guests Fiona Kerr and The Greeters - on Friday 30 November 2007 at the Black Box Belfast. The Black Box was packed out (tickets sold out well in advance) and the evening was a huge success (if we say so ourselves!) - as was the entire inaugural Outburst festival. Quire's recent recruitment of new singers has now ended. We're pleased to say we have a fresh intake of male and female voices who are settling in nicely. We don't anticipate holding another recruitment session until September 2008 - if you'd like to register an interest in joining in the meantime, please email our Membership Secretary at info@quire.org.uk and he'll be in touch with details closer to the time. |
